Laganas: the party hub
Laganas is Zante's party resort and has the most nightlife on the island, with over 40 bars and clubs on the strip.[1][2] It is a resort for people who want a party atmosphere, and one guide says it is worth avoiding if you do not.[3] See the Zante strip guide and clubs in Zante.
Kalamaki: calmer, still close
Kalamaki is a long, sandy beach about 5 km from Laganas. You can reach Laganas's nightlife for an evening, while the hotels stay quiet at night.[3] For a drink away from the strip there is Oceanic Chill Out Bar, a beachside cocktail bar with no TV screens or loud music.[2]
Argassi: lively but not rowdy
Argassi, close to Zante Town, has a lively strip of restaurants and bars alongside good beaches, and is described as lively but not rowdy.[3]
Zante Town
The island's main town has La Grange Rock Bar, which suits rock fans, with classic rock and sometimes live bands.[2]
Tsilivi and the quieter resorts
Tsilivi is described as the resort most families end up in, and Ark Bar is a sports bar there with big TVs and karaoke.[2][3] Alykanas is a relaxed resort with tavernas rather than a strip of bars.[3]
